M: Excuse me, ma'am. Could you tell me where the nearest subway station is?
W: Sure. Go straight ahead along this street for about ten minutes and then turn right. Walk for about 100 meters and you'll see a bus stop.
M: Is the subway station close to the bus stop?
W: Yes. Walk for about 200 meters after you get to the bus stop and you'll see a post office. The subway station is on the right of the post office, just a five-minute walk from there.
M: Thank you, ma'am.
W: You're welcome.

W: This is the house I want to rent. How do you like it?
M: Well, it looks cozy and fashionable.
W: Most importantly, the electricity is free of charge. And it lies in the center of the city and the transportation is convenient.
M: How much is the rent?
W: 200 dollars per week.
M: In my opinion, the rent is much higher than that in other areas. Meanwhile, it would cost you a lot to live here and travel to the university far away.
W: That's true. OK, I will think about it.

W: Hello, Rose speaking.
M: Hello, Miss Rose. I believe that you called me just now. I'm sorry I missed that, for I've just finished the work conference.
W: Oh, yes. It doesn't matter. Thanks for calling me back so soon. I was calling about your son Tommy.
M: Did he do something wrong at school?
W: He kept talking loudly all through the class, even though I asked him not to. What's more, he was even found playing with his phone in class.
M: I apologize. What should I do?
W: I need you to talk to him, if you don't mind. If he could stop that, I would greatly appreciate it.
M: OK, I'll make sure he doesn't do that again.

W: Hey, Jackie, how are you doing today?
M: I just got out of my psychology lecture a moment ago. How are you doing?
W: I have been out of class since early this afternoon, and I have been reading this new book I just bought. Have you ever heard of the author John Grisham?
M: Yeah! He's a great lawyer. He has written a lot of books based on his knowledge and experience with the legal system. The books give a lot of information on how the legal system works.
W: Yeah, I like his books. They are very easy to read. His special sense of humour has made the characters very entertaining and made the book much more interesting.
M: Yes. He has written at least twenty books. Did you read all of them?
W: No, I only read his legal fiction.
M: I see that you are very interested in learning about the legal system.
W: Yes, very much. However, not enough to change my major from psychology to law yet. Oh, it is almost 3 o'clock! I need to go. See you later!
M: Bye, Lisa!

People usually visit cafés for a coffee to reduce their tiredness and keep themselves from falling asleep, but Mr. Healing, a popular café chain in Korea, actually does the opposite. Customers can come in, order a drink, lie down on a comfortable chair and take a short sleep. The cafés charge differently according to the time a customer sleeps there. After the sleep comes to an end, you are taken back to the actual café area to enjoy a coffee or one of the many other drinks on the menu.
Mr. Healing cafés are so popular that customers are advised to make reservations in advance to be sure that a chair is available. Park, who is a 24-year-old officer, said that he has to sit on a chair and stare at a computer monitor all day due to his job, so the cafés are truly effective to reduce tiredness and stress from work. Many people say Mr. Healing and other similar relaxation cafés are good business models, because they offer a service that people really need.
